Groups across campus, including ITS, are engaged in developing IT standards for the effective use of technology across UNM campuses.
Standards may be requested to be developed through any of the IT governing bodies, the IT Cabinet, IT Agents, IT Managers or ITS leadership team. IT governing bodies review drafts, during which time they are available on this site for comment from the public to the contact person who is coordinating the development of the standard.
You may make comments about Draft Standards at the UNM Discussion Boards. A valid UNM NetID and password are required to post comments. Click on IT Standards to see the Draft Standards.
After review, public comment and endorsement by the IT Cabinet, the CIO signs the standard and it is considered approved.
